The Scientific Endeavor
I wrote The Scientific Endeavor to introduce students and others to what science is and how it is done. The book is used in a variety of courses, from freshman level to graduate courses, in the USA and internationally. (After Prentice-Hall stopped publishing the first edition, I updated it and published the second edition though Amazon.com. While this basically is “self-publishing,” the price to students dramatically dropped and ease of purchasing increased.)
