I have the honor of being a member of the Texas Tech Teaching Academy.

​

Over the decades, I have taught more than 20,000 students at Texas Tech University

​

Here are the main courses I teach:

 

GEOG 1401 Global Environmental Science (formerly called Physical Geography)- This is a lower division lab science course concentrating on the wonders of physical geography, with three hours of lecture and two hours of lab per week. Currently taught online and face-to-face.

 

GEOG 4300 Seminar in Geography - A “capstone” course for geography majors.

 

GEOG 4301 Geomorphology in Environmental Management and GEOG 5304 Advanced Physical Geography (for graduate students) - Landforms and the processes that make them, with an emphasis on human impact.

GEOG 4335, 5335 Field Seminar in Physical Geography - See

 

GEOG 4357 Geography of Arid Lands and GEOG 5306 Seminar in the Geography of Arid Lands (for graduate students)- Concentrates on the physical geography of arid and semiarid regions.

 

GEOG 5300 Geographic Research. Course for incoming graduate students introducing Geography and geographic research
